Introduction

    The company GEN-TREND s.r.o. was founded in 2002 by a group of investors, financial experts nad biotechnology and molecular biology specialists in order to start a private company tightly co-operating with public research sector. The connection of private and public research capacities was initialized in order to build a company using principles of know-how transfer from the public reasearch to private applied sphere. The result of our efforts is a flourishing biotechnological company offering its own prime quality products and services.

    Since 2008 the GEN-TREND laboratories are located in the building of South-bohemian science-technology park, which provides us great opportunities of co-operation with ecperts from the University of South Bohemia and Academy of Science of the Czech Republic. New technological processes (eg. production of biologically active compounds, development of new diagnostic processes in human and veterinary medicin) are carried out using benefits of this connection.
